Morton's Peak Hike

The Pathfinder Club will be hiking this Sabbath, March 11 at 2:00 pm at Morton's Peak.

 

We will begin the hike at the trailhead of Mortons Peak.  The hike is about 6 miles total, and is medium difficulty.  The trail is a dirt trail, not paved.  It is located off highway 38 on Warm Springs Road.  The turn off is a left hand turn and it will be before Thurman Flats picnic area. 

 

For parking, there is an Adventure Pass Required.  You can purchase a pass at the ranger station or other vendors at this link https://www.fs.fed.us/portaldata/r5/ap/r5-ap-vendors.php

We recommend carpooling, because there is limited parking available.

 

Please wear your yellow club t-shirt and carry your own water and snacks.  There is a Porto potty at the top of the trail.
