Club Meeting October 26, 2016

Hello Pathfinders and families, Just a reminder that we will be having our regular club meeting Wednesday, October 26 at 6:30 pm in the large Fellowship Hall.  Please remember to wear your field uniform (the light yellow club t-shirt). We will be having sign ups for the next series of honors classes slated to start Wednesday, November 9.  This will be explained more in depth tomorrow. We will also be taking sign ups and collecting fees for the Southeastern California Conference Pathfinder Camporee November 4 - 6.  We will need to collect the money tomorrow night as it is the last meeting prior to the event. CAMPOUT PACKING LIST

The Silverwood Lake Campout is nearly here. You should be thinking about packing by now. The items you need to bring are listed below. The Pathfinder Club will be supplying the tents for the Pathfinder Units.   Some items you may not bring are also liste d below. What to bring along : ☺      Bible ☺      Field Uniform Shirt and jeans ☺      At least 2 pair of pants (jeans) ☺      3-4 shirts ☺      Shorts ☺      3-4 pair of Socks ☺      Underwear ☺      2 pair of closed toed shoes (1 must be tennis/running type shoe for active events) ☺      1 pair of water shoes (optional for unusual hike) ☺      Jacket ☺      Windbreaker or pile jacket ☺      Light pair gloves ☺      Sleep wear ☺      Pillow ☺      Sleeping Pad (egg crate foam pad, therm-a-rest, air mattress, etc..) ☺      Sleeping Bag (low temps may be cool) ☺      Toilet paper ☺      Flashlight ☺      Camp chair ☺      Toothbrush & Toothpaste,

SILVERWOOD LAKE CAMPOUT

Hello Pathfinders, The Silverwood Lake Campout begins this Friday, October 7 -9, 2016 .    DIRECTIONS: I-215 North,  TO I-15 North, TO 138 East, TAKE Exit 131, Right on Cleghorn Road, Left to Rio Baranca VALLE Group Campground.  ARRIVAL: Check-in begins at 2:00 pm on Friday. Each Unit will work together to assemble their tent, and also begin setting up camp. CAMPSITES: After we assess the area and grounds, we will assign the units where their group of tents will be.  Pathfinder tents will be provided. Girls tents will be grouped together, and boys tents will be grouped together.  Parents will have their own tent designated area. RV's will be given a spot when you arrive.  (NOTE:  maximum length is 32 feet)    FACILITIES: There are restrooms and paid showers.  We will provide drinking water, so bring your refillable water bottles.   FIRES: No open fires will be allowed.  We will check with the Ranger if we can have a fire in the fire pit only.
