Pathfinder Meeting

We have our Pathfinder Meeting this Wednesday, February 22 at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The Golden Cheetahs are in charge of Opening Exercises.

1. We will be accepting payment at the meeting for El Capitan Campout for April 21-23. Pathfinders are $40.00 pp.

2. Sign-up on Wednesday for the hike on March 11. We will meet at the trailhead of Mortons Peak at 2:00 pm. The hike is about 6 miles total, and is medium difficulty. It is located off highway 38 on Warm Springs Road. For parking, there is an Adventure Pass Required. You can purchase a pass at the ranger station. If you have a 4th grader in your family, I have attached a link for passes: https://everykidinapark.gov/get-your-pass/

3. Teens:

a. Teens sign-up for the backpacking trip. The trip is on March 17-18. Camping is at White Water Preserve and hiking to Mission Creek Preserve.

b. Sign-up for the Conference Teen River Trip. It is March 30-April 2, Thur.-Sun. The Conference requires only for invested teen that have passed swim check-off and intermediate swim honor. The camp is at Pirates Cove on the Colorado River 11 miles South East of Needles on interstate 10.

March Meeting - Digital Photography Honor

Teacher Ernie Medina Jr. finished the second part of the Digital Photography Honor and presented all the pictures taken and submitted by the Pathfinders. Hello Pathfinders and Parents, It was really nice to see you all during our registration evening after our summer vacation. Are you guys ready for one more year of Pathfinders? We have nice activities planned for you and we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you back. Here is the schedule of activities for the year. Hiking Honor - Loma Linda Hills

Pathfinders on their 5 mile hike at Loma Linda Hills Congratulations are in order to those who "survived" our first hike at Hulda Crooks Park (Loma Linda Hills). Thank you to teachers Paulo Pereira and Alan Michel for helping get the pathfinders prepared. Thanks also goes out to our song leaders pastor John Choi and teachers Thomas and Ernie Medina for helping us close the Sabbath with a worship service.
