15-mile hike - Dollar Lake
Click on picture for Photo Album

Wow! That was amazing! Almost 30 Pathfinders and 20 adults completed the 15-mile hike last Sunday (09/12) to Dollar Lake. For some hikers and their parents it was the first time they were hiking that far and for others it was the first time they were hiking ever. It was tiring but all made back from hiking safe and sound. Check out the pictures by clicking on the image above.

Here is a message from director Mike:

Dear Pathfinders and Parents,
I want to let you know how proud I am of each Pathfinder who came on the hike. It always puts a smile on my face to see you accomplish things that some of you thought might be too difficult (parents included). For the older and faster Pathfinders toward to front, you guys are awesome. To all the parents who came to lend your support, expertise, & vehicles, I am always grateful, without you there this club would not be functioning. I especially want to thank Mark, Paulo, & Barry for helping me while Ellen was unable to come to keep this trip a safe and enjoyable one. Until the next event....
Take Care and see all during Induction on September 25
Director Mike

Outreach Activity at Reche Canyon Rehab Center

The residents of Reche Canyon Rehab Center had a musical treat this past Saturday. The Pathfinders sang and played their instruments and at the end interacted with all of them. Thank you to the parents who were present and sang with us. Good job Pathfinders! May God bless you all and continue developing your musical talents for His honor and glory and for the good of others. See below for the pictures of this event.

Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing Click on picture for Photo Album The Pathfinders had a lot of fun this last Sunday (March 20th) at Tresh Hold Climbing and Fitness Center in Riverside. About 20 Pathfinders participated on this activity and all of them were excited learning how to belay and tie proper knots into their harness. We all learned how to trust each other since we had to "let go of the wall" and hang from the rope while our partner at the bottom would slowly lower us.
