April 12 Meeting

Greetings Pathfinders,
 
We have a Pathfinder meeting Wednesday, April 12 at 6:30 pm in the Small Fellowship Hall.  Unit in charge of worship is Teen Rangers.  

Remember the Honor that you signed up for.  If you have not signed up yet, the Honors that are available are Basic Sewing Honor and Decoupage Honor.  All honors will meet April 12, 26 & May 10. 
 
PATHFINDER SABBATH
A very important date is coming up.  Pathfinder Sabbath is on April 29 for 2nd Service.  If you are unable to be involved that weekend due to family conflicts, let us know now! 
 PARENTS: THESE ARE NOT OPTIONAL PRACTICES
***April 12, 5:30-6:00 pm:  Begin practice for the praise music.  Juniors Sabbath School room. 
     April 12, 8:15:  Continue practice for the praise music.  Juniors Sabbath School room.
     April 12, 8:15-8:35 pm:  Practice for teen special music.  Sanctuary
     April 22 - El Capitan, practice for praise music and teen special music
     April 26, after honors - Practice for praise music, teen music, and children's story.
 
***Friday, April 28 6:30 - 8:30 pm - The Final Dress Rehearsal for Pathfinder Sabbath.  Everyone must be at this Final Rehearsal (dress uniform is not required for this rehearsal).

EL CAPITAN SPRING CAMPOUT
Our spring campout will be April 21-23, 2017 at El Capitan.  April 12 is the last day to sign-up.  All RV sites are full for our group.
If you need a ride, please let us know.

Rock Climbing Click on picture for Photo Album The Pathfinders had a lot of fun this last Sunday (March 20th) at Tresh Hold Climbing and Fitness Center in Riverside. About 20 Pathfinders participated on this activity and all of them were excited learning how to belay and tie proper knots into their harness. We all learned how to trust each other since we had to "let go of the wall" and hang from the rope while our partner at the bottom would slowly lower us.

Outreach Activity at Reche Canyon Rehab Center

The residents of Reche Canyon Rehab Center had a musical treat this past Saturday. The Pathfinders sang and played their instruments and at the end interacted with all of them. Thank you to the parents who were present and sang with us. Good job Pathfinders! May God bless you all and continue developing your musical talents for His honor and glory and for the good of others. See below for the pictures of this event.

20-Mile Bike Ride

20 Mile Bike Ride Click on picture for Photo Album Last Sunday (Dec 12, 2010) was a beautiful day. The weather was perfect with temperature in the middle 70s, perfect for the bike ride. For those of you who joined us congratulations for completing the 21.2 miles. Consider this as a training for the 50-mile bike ride to take place on Sunday, March 20, 2011 (in place of rock climbing). This will complete the requirements for the Cycling Honor. NEXT ACTIVITIES Caroling at Grand Terrace When: Sabbath, December 18 @ 2:00 pm Where: Grand Terrace neighborhood. We will be joining the church outreach group in this activity. You have the option of coming to church at 2 pm (meet in the Fellowship Hall) or staying after the 2nd church service for a potluck lunch. If you are planning on staying for the potluck, please bring a dish enough to feed 10-15 people. It could be an entree, salad or desert. Attire: Class A uniform (formal uniform).
