Pathfinder to help out at Helping Hands Food Bank, Sabbath, December 3, 2016

Happy Sabbath.  We hope you all had a pleasant Thanksgiving holiday.

The Azure Hills Pathfinder Club will be lending its considerable work force to the Helping Hands Food Pantry Sabbath afternoon from 2 to 4 pm .  The facility is at 2205 S Artesia St, San Bernardino, CA 92408.  From Azure Hills church head east on Barton Road (toward Loma Linda).  Continue on Barton Road to S. Waterman Ave.  Turn left on S. Waterman Ave. and follow it to E. Caroline St.  Turn right on E. Caroline St. and continue until it intersects with Artesia St.  The food pantry is the large warehouse building behind the yellow fence.

Your light yellow Pathfinder t-shirt should be worn.  You may want to wear it over a sweatshirt or sweater as the temperature will be on the cool side.

This activity is part of the community service that you need to complete for your class (Friend, Explorer, etc.).

We look forward to seeing you all there tomorrow.

Ready for the first Pathfinder's meeting?

We had a nice registration evening last Tuesday (8/17). Almost 40 Pathfinders registered for the 2010-2011 year. Some of these Pathfinders are being promoted from Adventurers, others have been with the club for some time and there is a special group of new kids joining the club for the first time. We would like to welcome all to the club and we are looking forward to know you better. If you would like to join the club and didn't have a chance to come during the registration evening please contact the directors Mike and Ellen as soon as possible. Please email them at mesabangan@sbcglobal.net to learn what you need to do. Our first meeting is September 1st at 6 pm at Azure Hills Church. Instructor Ed Dinger will be teaching the Cycling Honor. He is asking that every Pathfinder bring their own bike helmet to the meeting. Please take time to read the information packet you have received during registration. You may find a copy of the information at this page (right side column under ...

Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing Click on picture for Photo Album The Pathfinders had a lot of fun this last Sunday (March 20th) at Tresh Hold Climbing and Fitness Center in Riverside. About 20 Pathfinders participated on this activity and all of them were excited learning how to belay and tie proper knots into their harness. We all learned how to trust each other since we had to "let go of the wall" and hang from the rope while our partner at the bottom would slowly lower us.
