Hello Pathfinders,
The Silverwood Lake Campout begins this Friday, October 7 -9, 2016.
DIRECTIONS:
I-215 North, TO I-15 North, TO 138 East, TAKE Exit 131, Right on Cleghorn Road, Left to Rio Baranca VALLE Group Campground.
ARRIVAL:
Check-in begins at 2:00 pm on Friday.
Check-in begins at 2:00 pm on Friday.
Each Unit will work together to assemble their tent, and also begin setting up camp.
CAMPSITES:
After we assess the area and grounds, we will assign the units where their group of tents will be. Pathfinder tents will be provided.
Girls tents will be grouped together, and boys tents will be grouped together. Parents will have their own tent designated area.
RV's will be given a spot when you arrive. (NOTE: maximum length is 32 feet)
FACILITIES:
There are restrooms and paid showers. We will provide drinking water, so bring your refillable water bottles.
FIRES:
No open fires will be allowed. We will check with the Ranger if we can have a fire in the fire pit only.
FOOD:
Food is provided for the weekend. This is beginning with Friday evening meal through Sunday morning breakfast.
Each class will be assigned their meal duties and cleanup duties when they arrive.
Adults will have a separate station with a menu to follow for the weekend. There will also be a sign-up sheet for adults to help prepare meals and cleanup.
I have attached your packing list for the campout.
Tent assignments are still be organized since there are last minute Pathfinders being added. They will be sent out soon.
