GOD IS AWESOME!!!!

I just wanted to say that I had an awesome time yesterday hanging out with you all!!!! 
As always, the Azure Hills Pathfinder club is the best!!!! 

 It was a pleasure to see you all again! Especially the new faces!!   I know that we are going to have a great year!

Here are house keeping details:
  • We will be having Induction on September 12th @ Azure Hills Church during Second Service.  Please make sure you have your Full Class A Uniform. (Tan shirt & black bottoms).  We will have our blessing right around the Lambs offering.
  • Friends Class:  You will be receiving a  special pin from the older Pathfinders. they will pin it on your front left pocket, right over your heart.  So when you are standing at the front of the church look for them.
  • We will be going to Huntington Beach for Vespers. I will be leaving right after church to get a spot so you can head over anytime (4:30ish). I will email you once I get there, to give you an exact location.
  • We will be by PCH & Magnolia, near the fire rings.(Look for our Azure Hills Pathfinder sign) FYI: there is a parking fee. ;-(
  • We will provide a light dinner. If you would like to bring something to share that would be awesome!!

Ready for the first Pathfinder's meeting?

We had a nice registration evening last Tuesday (8/17). Almost 40 Pathfinders registered for the 2010-2011 year. Some of these Pathfinders are being promoted from Adventurers, others have been with the club for some time and there is a special group of new kids joining the club for the first time. We would like to welcome all to the club and we are looking forward to know you better. If you would like to join the club and didn't have a chance to come during the registration evening please contact the directors Mike and Ellen as soon as possible. Please email them at mesabangan@sbcglobal.net to learn what you need to do. Our first meeting is September 1st at 6 pm at Azure Hills Church. Instructor Ed Dinger will be teaching the Cycling Honor. Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing Click on picture for Photo Album The Pathfinders had a lot of fun this last Sunday (March 20th) at Tresh Hold Climbing and Fitness Center in Riverside. About 20 Pathfinders participated on this activity and all of them were excited learning how to belay and tie proper knots into their harness. We all learned how to trust each other since we had to "let go of the wall" and hang from the rope while our partner at the bottom would slowly lower us.
