Camp Cedar Falls Activities

The Rangers and Voyagers who went to Camp Cedar Falls had the opportunity of leading the worship services during the weekend. Congratulations to all. You did an outstanding job presenting messages of the Bible in a fun but thoughtful way. The skits you presented were very creative. May God bless you all as you continue to grow physically and spiritually.
We also had a hiking on Sabbath morning after the morning worship in a very relaxing setting (The treehouse and the creek).
Enjoy the pictures of the event.

There may be some concerns in regards to coming on Thursday during the SECC Camporee but if you attend any of our Adventist Schools i.e. LLA, RAA, or MGA that Thursday is a half day. Teachers are aware of the yearly camporee. All you would need to do is get a pre-excused absence for Fri. Nov 2 and get the necessary homework which may be given out on that day. Please do not procrastinate in getting this done. Fridays are usually half days for all our Adventist schools. Most of the activities for the camporee occur on that Friday.

For parents and pathfinders who are coming to visit on Friday or Sabbath, there is a $3 day fee per adult and $2 per child (2-12 y/o) charged by the Rancho Jurupa Park. Please let us know if you plan on visiting on Sabbath so we can include you in the count for Sabbath lunch and dinner.

Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing Click on picture for Photo Album The Pathfinders had a lot of fun this last Sunday (March 20th) at Tresh Hold Climbing and Fitness Center in Riverside. About 20 Pathfinders participated on this activity and all of them were excited learning how to belay and tie proper knots into their harness. We all learned how to trust each other since we had to "let go of the wall" and hang from the rope while our partner at the bottom would slowly lower us.

For those of you who joined us congratulations for completing the 21.2 miles. Consider this as a training for the 50-mile bike ride to take place on Sunday, March 20, 2011 (in place of rock climbing). This will complete the requirements for the Cycling Honor. Outreach Activity at Reche Canyon Rehab Center

The residents of Reche Canyon Rehab Center had a musical treat this past Saturday. The Pathfinders sang and played their instruments and at the end interacted with all of them. Thank you to the parents who were present and sang with us. Good job Pathfinders! May God bless you all and continue developing your musical talents for His honor and glory and for the good of others. See below for the pictures of this event.
