Pathfinder Meeting is this Wednesday, December 7 @ 6:30 sharp. We will be finishing the honors that were started last month so, make sure you come!

NEXT ACTIVITIES

Devotional, Basic Drilling and Marching Honor
When: Saturday, December 10, 2011
Time: 5:00 – 7:00 pm
Where: Azure Hills Church CMC 1

Who should participate: Pathfinders interested in learning the basics of drilling and those who are working on their Progressive Class requirements (i.e. Friend, Companion, Explorer, Ranger)

**Snacks and drinks will be provided**

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING BIG CHANGE:
The Spring Camping Trip to El Capitan is cancelled due to unavailability of our
usual group sites.

Instead, we will join the Pacific Union Camporee in Glen Helen Park, San Bernardino, CA March 28 – April 1, 2012 (Wed – Sun)

Pathfinder Clubs from Hawaii, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and all of California will be in attendance. This is the first time in ~20 years that our Southeastern California Conference is hosting the PUC Camporee.

Please check your schedules and sign up this meeting and next meeting.

First Meeting - A great start!

First Meeting - A great start! Over 30 Pathfinders attended the first monthly meeting. Teachers Mike and Ellen had everything in order and we had a wonderful and fun meeting. Pathfinders were divided in 7 smaller groups and had the chance to pick a name for their groups. Each Pathfinder were given a folder where activities and printed material for the year will be kept.
Pathfinder Registration is open.  Please fill out the Registration form and Consent/Waiver form and submit with payment at the 1st Meeting on August 10.  The cost is $50.00 per pathfinder.  That includes the $10.00 insurance requirement.  The Class A uniform patches and t-shirts are separate.  We are upgrading the t-shirts to comply with the conference.  The cost for a t-shirt is $6.00.  We will be renting out available uniforms (what ever is left in stock) and t-shirts for the year.  Please donate used uniforms to the club. Pathfinder Ski/Snowboard Day

Ski/Snowboarding Day Click on picture for Photo Album Hello Pathfinders and Parents! Wow! I really enjoyed snowboarding yesterday. I hope you did, too. The weather could have been better, but then again, it could have been worse. We had sunshine most of the morning and part of the afternoon. By 3 pm the visibility was very poor, but some of you just kept going! Brave ones! I hope you all had a safe drive back home (and are back in school today -- I'm back to work!). Michael and Thomas , you two are going to be great snowboarders some day. You're already leaving your parents behind! Summer , you get better and better every time you go skiing. Maybe someday you'll try snowboarding? Jenny and Gaby ...boarding part of the day and skiing part of the day...you showed that "you got skill" Chris -- well, you and your brother are the "terrors on the slopes" -- fearless just like your dad Emily, you are a good skier.
