Wakeboarding and Biking

Pathfinders and parents had a great time wakeboarding and riding their bikes at Lake Perris this last Sunday. Over 40 Pathfinders participated in the activities and earned their honors. Way to go Pathfinders! All of you did really well. We were impressed to see you ride your bike for 10-miles and still having the strenght to go up and down the hill close to the dam carrying your bikes.

Thank you to all the parents who came, participated in the activities and helped us. Special thanks to the Makowski family for bringing their boat and for providing so much fun in the water for the kids and grown ups too!

Thank you also to Kevin Thompson, Ed Dinger and Denver Drieberg for taking pictures and videos of the event for the Club.

You can watch videos from the wakeboarding activity taken by Kevin in the brand new Pathfinders' YouTube Channel at: http://www.youtube.com/user/AHillsPathfinders

Outreach Activity at Reche Canyon Rehab Center

The residents of Reche Canyon Rehab Center had a musical treat this past Saturday. The Pathfinders sang and played their instruments and at the end interacted with all of them. Thank you to the parents who were present and sang with us. Good job Pathfinders! May God bless you all and continue developing your musical talents for His honor and glory and for the good of others. See below for the pictures of this event.

Ready for the first Pathfinder's meeting?

We had a nice registration evening last Tuesday (8/17). Almost 40 Pathfinders registered for the 2010-2011 year. Some of these Pathfinders are being promoted from Adventurers, others have been with the club for some time and there is a special group of new kids joining the club for the first time. We would like to welcome all to the club and we are looking forward to know you better. If you would like to join the club and didn't have a chance to come during the registration evening please contact the directors Mike and Ellen as soon as possible. Please email them at mesabangan@sbcglobal.net to learn what you need to do. Our first meeting is September 1st at 6 pm at Azure Hills Church. Instructor Ed Dinger will be teaching the Cycling Honor. He is asking that every Pathfinder bring their own bike helmet to the meeting. Please take time to read the information packet you have received during registration. You may find a copy of the information at this page (right side column under ...
