Summer is almost over... Pathfinders' registration day is coming up!


Dear Pathfinders,

How is your summer vacation going? Are you ready for another year of fun activities? The Azure Hills Pathfinder Club invites you and your parents to come to the registration evening on August 17, 2010 at 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall and tell us all about your adventures during the summer while you register for our new upcoming Pathfinder year.

Please notice that this date is the only time for registering. If for some reason you are not able to attend the registration evening on August 17th please contact the directors Mike or Ellen Sabangan at mesabangan@sbcglobal.net as soon as possible to make arrangements.

Registration Information

Contact directors Mike or Ellen. They will let you know what you need to do in order to register.
Fees:
$25 for first child, $20 for additional child
$7.50 per child for conference insurance

Total fees including insurance: $32.50 for first child and $27.50 for each additional child
Please make checks payable to Azure Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Progressive Classes Offered this year (2010-2011):

FRIEND - 9 turning 10 & 10 year olds (5th graders)
COMPANION - 11 year olds (6th graders)
EXPLORER - 12 - 14 year olds (7th, 8th & 9th graders)


Uniforms Information:

This year we will be wearing both Class A and Field uniforms for pathfinder meetings and activities. Click here for more information about Uniforms.

How to order:

You may order uniforms directly from Advent Source . Please notice that there will be a one-time opportunity to place orders together with other members on registration day (August 17, 2010).
Take advantage of this opportunity to consolidate shipping and handling costs. Download the order form, fill it out and bring to the registration evening with the total amount of your order. Please make check payable to Azure Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Class A Uniform

Boys: Black pants, tan short sleeve shirt with left and right chest pockets and shoulder loops, pathfinder world patch, 3" pathfinder triangle patch, black socks and black shoes

Girls: Black pants or black A-line skirt, tan short sleeve blouse with left and right chest pockets and shoulder loops, pathfinder world patch, 3" pathfinder triangle patch, black socks and black shoes

First Meeting - A great start!

First Meeting - A great start! Over 30 Pathfinders attended the first monthly meeting. Teachers Mike and Ellen had everything in order and we had a wonderful and fun meeting. Pathfinders were divided in 7 smaller groups and had the chance to pick a name for their groups. Each Pathfinder were given a folder where activities and printed material for the year will be kept.
Pathfinder Registration is open.  Please fill out the Registration form and Consent/Waiver form and submit with payment at the 1st Meeting on August 10.  The cost is $50.00 per pathfinder.  That includes the $10.00 insurance requirement.  The Class A uniform patches and t-shirts are separate.  We are upgrading the t-shirts to comply with the conference.  The cost for a t-shirt is $6.00.  We will be renting out available uniforms (what ever is left in stock) and t-shirts for the year.  Please donate used uniforms to the club. Pathfinder Ski/Snowboard Day

Ski/Snowboarding Day Click on picture for Photo Album Hello Pathfinders and Parents! Wow! I really enjoyed snowboarding yesterday. I hope you did, too. The weather could have been better, but then again, it could have been worse. We had sunshine most of the morning and part of the afternoon. By 3 pm the visibility was very poor, but some of you just kept going! Brave ones! I hope you all had a safe drive back home (and are back in school today -- I'm back to work!). Michael and Thomas , you two are going to be great snowboarders some day. You're already leaving your parents behind! Summer , you get better and better every time you go skiing. Maybe someday you'll try snowboarding?
